1. Attending to members on an appointment basis during agreed weekly sessions
2. Providing health checks and wellbeing support within your scope of practice
3. Offering health advice, reassurance, and signposting to relevant healthcare services where necessary
4. Supporting members affected by cancer with compassion, dignity, and professionalism
5. Maintaining accurate and confidential record in line with organizational guidelines
6. Collaborating with the DChanger UK team to ensure continuity of care
7. Identifying and escalating any safeguarding or clinical concerns appropriately
1. Qualified and registered nurse (or equivalent recognized nursing qualification)
2. A Valid DBS check (preferably required prior to starting the role)
3. Friendly, empathetic, and professional manner
4. Ability to communicate clearly, calmly, and respectfully with people from diverse backgrounds
5. Strong understanding of confidentiality, safeguarding, and professional boundaries
6. Willingness to contribute on a volunteer basis with a flexible, appointed-led approach
7. Passion for community health, wellbeing, and social impact.
