During the session
If you meet someone who would like to continue learning digital skills, you can direct them to Learn My Way which has lots of helpful free digital training.
If they would like more one-to-one support, then they can attend the digital support sessions hosted by our partners across Bexley. See the map of these sessions here. They could even use these sessions to learn how to access Learn My Way if they would like to!
During the session you may come across someone who would benefit from other types of support in Bexley. Connected Bexley is a really helpful online resource with information about different services across the borough, you can use it to search by location or by support type.
Feedback
Since this is a new programme, it will be really helpful to get some feedback from people that you’re supporting, this helps us shape the training depending on the need of the community. The easiest way to collect this, is to use our feedback form, you can do this with someone at the end of your session with them.
Tracking
Digital Unite has a really helpful tool to track the amount of people you are supporting through digital training.
To help us understand the amount of people we’re supporting as a team, please keep track of your sessions in the My Activity section of Digital Unite.
The NHS targets for this include an increase in the number of people downloading the NHS app and also having their notifications turned on.
Resources
Over the last year, we have collected and created a range of resources which help with supporting learners. These include staying safe online and digital accessibility. You can find all of these here.
