Lauriann’s STEM Club is looking for volunteers to assist our STEM club staff in a series of after school STEM Club sessions during the Autumn term of 2026 at our partner schools in Southeast London, across the Borough of Bexley and Greenwich. This is a great opportunity for someone wanting to take part in a fun and flexible environment. The STEM Club will run after school for up to 10 weeks except the half-term and designated bank holidays in between. The sessions run for 1 hour between 3.30-4.40pm. Our STEM Clubs run on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. The STEM Club will be attended by children in year groups 1 to 6, with a capacity of up to 30 students. We are looking for individuals to assist our club staff within the sessions. The STEM Club will operate on a Monday, Wednesday or Friday on a weekly basis.

Your role will be to engage with the kids during the session and during their STEM activities.

An online training session and insight into lesson plans will be provided. We are looking for someone who can support Mondays, Wednesdays, or Fridays after school during the term and be available to attend the block of 10 sessions (approx. 3-5pm).

What skills do I need?

We are looking for individuals with some knowledge and passion for STEM. An outgoing, friendly demeanour, have a fun and energetic nature, and any experience teaching or working with children is desirable.
