To support the cookery club tutor, with the cookery session which would involve help with completing participants’ paperwork i.e. enrolment and evaluation forms. Also helping cookery club tutor to set up and set down for the cooking sessions, helping with the clearing up and room tidying. • To welcome participants, with a friendly demeanour • To support participants to engage with the session • To support cookery tutor with participants’ completing paperwork • To assist cookery tutor with set up, clear up and any other related tasks required to run a healthy eating cooking session • Be willing to complete any training requests (in person and online) • To help with social media scheduling (if volunteer desires/able)
Food hygiene certificate or knowledge of food hygiene rules and regulations Ability to work under the direction of the cookery club tutor Able to assist/complete manual tasks such as light lifting, washing up, sweeping and mopping Commit to and attend at the agreed times Confidence to communicate in a friendly and non-judgmental manner

Eatwell Bexley cookery clubs take place at different community venues mostly across north of the borough of Bexley. They take place during school term time and usually on a weekday (Mondays to Fridays). Each volunteering cookery club session minimum of 3 hours (1 hour for set up and clear up and 2-hour cooking session)
