Crossroads Care South East London is a not-for-profit charitable organisation. We have been delivering community-based services for over 30 years to unpaid carers and older people across Bexley, Greenwich, Lewisham, and surrounding areas. The support is delivered in the carers' own home or within the community. We are looking to strengthen our Trustee board and are looking for individuals with the following skill sets to join the board:

• Social Media Graphic Design • Lived experience Carer • Fundraising • Safeguarding • Diversity & Inclusion • Trauma Informed Care

.

As a member of the Board of Trustees your role will be to ensure the organisation complies with its governing document(Articles of Association) and pursues its objectives as defined in the governing document.

You will need to demonstrate passion and enthusiasm for the vision, mission and values of the organisation, and work well as part of a committed team. The average time commitment of a Trustee is 1.25 days per month. This includes 5 full board meetings per year(including AGM) and subcommittees, most of which meet quarterly. In the first couple of months, induction will require some additional time.

The role of a trustee is voluntary and therefore unremunerated although reasonable expenses will be reimbursed.

If you would like to have an informal discussion about the role and commitment of a Trustee, please feel free to contact the CEO Darren Tobin on 07540 992898 or email d.tobin@ccsel.org

We value diversity in our organisation and welcome applications from all sectors of the community.

What skills do I need?

We are looking to further strengthen our board and are particularly interested to hear from individuals with Fundraising/Trusts & Foundations background.
