The Mentor Volunteer role is to provide guidance, support, and inspiration to individuals in need, fostering their personal and professional growth. This role is crucial in helping our organisation achieve its mission of empowering and uplifting the lives of others. The mentorship provided not only impacts the individual mentees but also strengthens the fabric of our community, creating a ripple effect of positive change.
• Travelling to and from an agreed place
• Meeting with a mentor on a 1-1 basis
• Working with a mentee to identify goals and objectives
• Provide support, guidance and encouragement
• Using your own initiative to identify relevant sources to aid in your mentoring
• Experience or interest in supporting vulnerable individuals
• Good communication skills
• Good problem-solving skills
• The ability to be flexible with time and cope with sudden changes to arrangements
