Supporting people 1:1 and enabling them to gain confidence with information technology. You may be asked to assist with a wide range of tasks from setting up an email account, using the web, job searching, completing online forms, getting new users online, accessing council services. To have the ability to research specific IT queries for customers and help resolve them. We are currently recruiting for Central and Welling libraries.Â
What skills do I need?
We are looking for patient people who are good communicators and who really enjoy helping others. Those that are enthusiastic and keen to make a difference to someone's life. As a Digital Champion you will have access to online training resources and be part of a team of champions that are actively reducing digital exclusion.
Be willing to learn new things and keep up to date with technical information.
Confident and experienced with digital devices.
