For The Crossness Engines Trust
Crossness Pumping Station is an exciting and vibrant museum in SE2 and often described as a 'hidden gem'.
Designed and built in 1865 by the Civil Engineer, Joseph Bazalgette, Crossness was a key factor in ridding London of deadly disease and setting international standards in the management of sewage and waste.
Around 100 volunteers keep Crossness developing as a museum and for our volunteers this is a unique chance to be 'a part of history'.
As we grow our visitor base and find other ways that the public can interact with Crossness, we are at the stage of needing help to market this important historic heritage site. We are looking for people who are keen to help us reach new audiences and tell great stories about Crossness.
We are regularly in the top 40 things to see and do in London on Trip Advisor and we are keen to raise our game even higher.
Analysis and development of social media presence Short form video production Advance promotion of forthcoming events Emphasis on our USP Developing new audiences Development of a content calendar
