We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join our Short Breaks Services (running on Saturdays and during school holidays for our younger children). We are also seeking volunteers to join our Youth Clubs (running on Tuesday and Thursday evenings for our young people). No previous experience is necessary, but we ask that volunteers have a genuine interest in supporting children and young people with disabilities. Volunteering with Snap will introduce you to some amazing children and young people, and a supportive team. You will volunteer alongside experienced staff members, providing a variety of opportunities for fun, exploration and socialisation. As valued members of the team, volunteers are invited to join staff in some of our training sessions.
What skills do I need?
• To be self-motivated and bring a positive attitude to support disabled and neurodivergent children and young people to make choices and have fun in our sessions
• Able and willing to participate as part of the team
• Good verbal communication skills and able to follow instructions when given
• Ability to ensure confidentiality always
• To be reliable and a good timekeeper

Availability Details
