About Beyond Braidz

Beyond Braidz CIC is a community organisation that uses creative skills development, wellbeing initiatives and entrepreneurship to empower children, young people, and families. We create culturally inclusive spaces that build confidence, strengthen community connections and provide pathways to independence through practical learning and community engagement. Our women programme is Beyond Sisterhood Sanctuary- a safe space for women to connect, develop skills for independence and thrive.

Purpose of the Role

Our Social Media Management Support Volunteer will play an important role in helping us promote our community events via all our media platforms. Whether workshops, family activities, wellbeing programmes or community celebrations, the volunteer will help ensure our messages reach those who needs it most.

What skills do I need?

Desirable Skills

Although not essential, it would be helpful if you have experience in:

  • Administration
  • Event coordination
  • Social media or photography
  • Creative arts or workshop support
  • Basic knowledge in Canva and Eventbrite

Full induction and training will be provided.
