What our volunteers say:

"Volunteering here is incredibly rewarding. It’s so humbling to hear the nurses’ gratitude just for a cup of tea and a biscuit, especially on a challenging day. One of many things that has impressed me, is to witness the care and love given to every individual patient, often under very distressing circumstances. Patient safety and wellbeing is foremost. I really look forward to volunteering each week, and get great satisfaction from the fact that maybe l have made a small difference to each member of the hospital team l meet."
