Girlguiding Volunteers Needed – Bexley & Joydens Wood Units
We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join our local Girlguiding units in Bexley and Joydens Wood as Unit Helpers. In this role, you’ll support girls across all age groups — Rainbows (4–7), Brownies (7–10), Guides (10–14) and Rangers (14–18) — helping them enjoy activities such as games, crafts, badge work, trips, camps and more.
You’ll work alongside a friendly and experienced volunteer team to create fun, empowering experiences for girls in your local community. If you enjoy working with young people, being creative, and making a positive difference, we’d love to welcome you.
Girlguiding is the UK’s largest youth organisation dedicated entirely to girls, with 300,000 members aged 4–18 who come together to laugh, learn, grow and have adventures. Our volunteers are at the heart of everything we do.
Volunteering with us is simple — just three easy steps and you’re ready to get started. You’ll have fun supporting girls while gaining valuable skills that can boost your confidence and enhance your CV.
By volunteering locally in Bexley and Joydens Wood, you’ll help girls build confidence, make lifelong friendships and discover new interests.
There are many ways to get involved — from leading activities to supporting behind the scenes — and every role makes a difference.
Join us and help more girls thrive in Girlguiding. Create magical moments together and make a real impact in a way that fits around your life.
