This is a flexible, mainly home-based volunteering role with no fixed days or hours. Volunteers can usually complete funding research and application activities at times that suit their availability. The two Grants & Funding Officers will work together, alongside the Director, and can divide tasks according to their skills, availability and application deadlines. The amount of time required may vary depending on current funding opportunities and deadlines. Some weeks may require little or no activity, while additional time may occasionally be needed when an application deadline is approaching. Regular communication between the funding volunteers and Director will be encouraged, but this can usually take place by email, telephone or video call. Occasional accessible in-person meetings may also be arranged where helpful. We are looking for volunteers who can provide ongoing support throughout the year rather than a fixed number of hours each week.
This opportunity can be carried out whilst working from home.
