We are Lauriann’s STEM Club and we are looking for an active and enthusiastic individual to volunteer with our community Interest Organisation, be a part of the growing team as a School Engagement Volunteer within the London borough of Bexley and outer areas. We are happy to be flexible around the hours you can offer. We hope this volunteering role will offer an opportunity for volunteers to build and gain experience in a number of areas.

We are a growing (Social Enterprise) company that promotes STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) which works closely with Schools, Universities, Teachers, Parents and Students within Education. 

The role operates from home.

This is an engagement role that will be making telephone calls and sending emails. We are looking for an individual who will be able to represent our company in a professional manner by engaging with Schools to offer courses from our STEM program. The individual should be able to volunteer within school opening times.

Tasks include the following.

Offering STEM courses to schools; Answering any questions the customer has about the course; Maintaining positive customer relations.

What skills do I need?

Strong communication skills for interactions with customers and team members. Good telephone manner. Compassion, patience, and willingness to learn. Good time management and organisation skills. Experience in sales or education field would be great, but we are happy to offer support and training in the role so, if you think you would like to volunteer with us, please do get in touch for a chat.

Availability Details

We're currently looking for someone who can commit minimum 10 hours per week between Monday to Friday. Hours and days are flexible and can be agreed. This role is also suitable for graduates.

Location

This opportunity can be carried out whilst working from home.
