Volunteer Service Review Officer

The purpose of the Service Review Officer is to visit and/or telephone Evergreen clients to complete a review of the services that the client is receiving from Evergreen. The meeting generally takes the form of a cuppa and a chat in an informal manner in the client's home and every effort is made to relieve the client of any anxiety whilst they discuss services. This is a rewarding volunteer activity for those who enjoy meeting new and interesting people. Evergreen is a Christian Organisation but welcomes people from other faiths or none who are committed to our values promoting healthy ageing and the care and support of senior citizens in the Borough of Bexley. We provide induction and ongoing training and support, a Volunteer Handbook, 3 regular social meetings per month plus ad hoc events e.g. summer bbq for all our volunteers and the opportunity to meet new people and improve your skills and experience.

• To be reliable, trustworthy and punctual • To have a caring, respectful, non-judgemental approach • Ability to operate within Evergreen’s policies and procedures • Good communication skills
